T minus two weeks and the count down begins! Time to get serious and finish Christmas shopping and that we did on this past weekend with much success! An all day agenda required a planned dinner and relaxation to take in the up coming and busy week ahead so crockpot to the rescue! D’Angelo Vineyards Estate Winery Baco Noir 2008 was the choice to accompany these spicy slow cooked ribs!

Ribs seasoned with cayenne pepper, Dijon mustard, onion, garlic, chili sauce, and Frank’s red hot simmered all day. This double gold winning wine was smooth with this classic homemade dish. Can’t wait to try this wine with other spicy dishes!20121218
