An alfresco style dinner that all local market buyers will enjoy with this 2013 Sparkling Riesling from Sprucewood Shores.

Grilled Haddock and BBQ corn on the cob completed this perfect pairing.

Golden nugget corn was supplied by Lee and Maria’s Market.

Tasty BBQ Corn on the Cob

In a medium bowl, mix together the chili powder, oregano, onion powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Blend in the softened butter. Apply this mixture to each ear of corn, and place each ear onto a piece of aluminum foil big enough to wrap the corn. Wrap like a burrito, and twist the ends to close. More….

Grilled Haddock

In a bowl combine:

  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 6 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1  tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp parsley


Place fish in a gallon ziploc bag. Add marinade. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Grill 5 minutes per side or until flakes easily
